Group status update for LabOps for the autumn semester of 2025

🔔 🔔 🔔 LabOps here! If you’re new to what we do, here’s a quick rundown: 🔔 🔔 🔔

Our main job is to ensure the workshop is functional and tidy for everyone. We check all the equipment to make sure it’s ready for use, whether it’s our beloved laser engraving machine, our coffee machine or our 3D printers.

Another key responsibility of LabOps is organizing courses. We are going to arrange many courses this semester, such as 3D printing or Arduino and microcontrollers. These courses are open for everyone, so feel free to apply! We will also have a few laser cutter courses this year! These laser courses are for members only, but if you’re interested in using a laser cutter, you can apply to become a member of Hackerspace!

Looking ahead, we plan to focus on making Hackerspace more visible across NTNU, as we’re always looking for new members!
